Water Jetting

Water Jetting

What is Water Jetting?

Over time, sewer and stormwater drainage pipes may deteriorate due to ground movement, tree root infestation, grease buildup, foreign objects, or poor installation.

In years gone by, the only equipment available to deal with these messy and inconvenient situations was to use of hand rods or an electric drain cleaning machine. Both of these options have severe restrictions including length of cable, restrictions on entry points, and the ability to use an electric machine in wet weather.

High-pressure water jetters are now the latest technology and offer an efficient, economical, and environmentally safe way to clean drainage pipes. Using state-of-the-art pumps and flexible hoses, ordinary water is propelled under varying amounts of pressure into the drainage line. A special nozzle mounted on the end of a heavy-duty hose has an array of forward and reverse jets, which direct extremely powerful concentrated streams of water all the way around the pipe walls, cutting through even the toughest blockages and buildup to thoroughly clean the pipes.

Having approximately 120 meters of jet hose on each machine allows us to clear blockages via minimal entry points into the drainage systems. These entry points include an inspection opening, yard gully, air vent, or even through the toilet pan!

Electric Jetters

We now have the ability to clear blockages in high-rise apartments and office towers.

These electric jetters are small enough to fit into lifts and can be operated quietly inside buildings as there are no fumes emitted. They are suitable for blockages in stack drainage piping from 40mm up to and including 100mm diameter piping.

Due to the size of the jetter hose, we are able to clear blockages to toilets, urinals, and sinks without the need for removal of the fixtures.

Domestic Jetters

These water jetters are the most commonly used in domestic situations and offer a wide variety of applications.

They can be used for all pipes from 40mm through to 150mm and offer varying pressures up to 5000 psi.

Used in conjunction with our special closed circuit television (CCTV) we can provide the complete drain cleaning and diagnostic solution.

Commercial Jetters

We now have the ability to clear blocked sewer and stormwater drainage lines up to 500mm in diameter.

This truck is equipped with special cutting nozzles to clear the most stubborn of blockages. Ideal for residential unit blocks, commercial buildings, and industrial sites.
